This was exactly what I wanted. Some specialty mochi. The place was a little hard to find, in the lower level of a building that is not the Hilton Hotel. I was concerned about the lower rating for this restaurant but this was just delicious! The mochi was soft & warm. We also had the matcha latte with the cute bear. The whole experience was perfect. All of the items on the menu heavily incorporated matcha or were matcha themed. The service and food were excellent, with the menu items being exceptionally well presented. 10/10 would recommend to all matcha lovers.

The fresh warabi mochi caught my attention so I decided to eat here. I ordered the fries with matcha salt, roast beef, and fresh warabi mochi dish. Service was friendly. The server did not speak English but we figured it out and everything I ordered came out perfectly. Everything tasted great. I wasn't expecting the roast beef to be served cold but it still had good taste. I enjoyed the fresh warabi mochi. That was my first time trying fresh mochi and it was yummy and fun. I had to do a quick Google on how to eat it but it was definitely enjoyable! I can't wait to come back and try the parfait.

Great Japanese dessert restaurant recommended for matcha lovers. I like the taste of the concentrated warm matcha mochi (warabi mochi) but found it to be too hard to eat. The restaurant has an English menu and is situated on the ground floor inside a building. I didn't need to wait for a table when I walked in around 7 pm.

Good selection of matcha and mochi desserts. Great presentation of the mochi sets; the mochi itself was good but nothing too special. Also had the bear dessert/matcha for fun, which was very cute and more for the novelty.

I visited this restaurant on a weekend for dessert, mainly for the handmade warabi mochi. I had the matcha ice-cream with warabi mochi, red bean and some glutinous rice balls, together with a cup of coffee. The dessert was pretty good value, with a strong matcha taste in the ice-cream, though the warabi mochi was average. I like the unhurried ambience of the restaurant, nestled on the ground floor of an office building called Shinjuku Sumitomo Building. It’s a short walk from Nishi-Shinjuku station.

It's in the building. There are counter seats. a credit card is available. There is also food and alcohol. There were many couples and female customers. I ordered freshly made hot warabi-moti.(Warabi-mochi is a traditional Japanese dessert made from bracken starch, soybean flour and topped off with syrup.) It has a very innovative texture and is recommended. Sprinkle with soybean flour and eat. I entered the store around 2:30 PM on weekdays. I was able to enter immediately.
